And speaking of jobs…
Governor Brian Kemp announced on Wednesday that Ball Corporation will expand its operations in Rome. According to a release from the Governor’s office, the company will build a new aluminum cups manufacturing plant; it will result in the creation of more than 180 new jobs, as well as an investment of more than $200 million.
The new plant will be adjacent to Ball’s existing facility off Georgia 53. It is expected to come online in the fourth quarter of 2020.
