GEORGIA CONTINUES TO BREAK RECORDS IN EARLY VOTING, PER THE SECRETARY OF STATE

Georgia continues to break records in early voting, according to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. A total of 1,912,045 ballots were cast statewide as of 8 pm on Tuesday evening; 1,146,416 of those were cast early in-person, as the remaining 765,629 were submitted via absentee by mail.

This marks the second week of early voting in the Peach State. Floyd County voters may cast their ballots today until Friday at the Elections Office inside the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue in downtown Rome, Garden Lakes Baptist Church at 2200 Redmond Circle, or the county Health Department at 16 East 12th Street. Hours are 8 am to 5 pm.

Polls will be open countywide on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd, from 7 am until 7 pm.
