More than 77,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health.
According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 77,210 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide as of 3 pm on Sunday afternoon. There were 2,778 deaths related to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 495 confirmed cases and 15 fatalities. Gwinnett County reported the highest number of confirmed cases in the state 7,685. Fulton County had the most fatalities with 311.
