Media release from Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation:

Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation, in partnership with the Senior Advisory Council, is excited to announce the upcoming Senior Inforum, set for this Wednesday, April 30, at the Thornton Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year’s event invites attendees to embrace the spirit of the Wild West, encouraging everyone to wear their best western attire for a chance to participate in the costume contest.

With an anticipated attendance of approximately 600 senior citizens from across the Northwest Georgia area, the Senior Inforum promises a vibrant day filled with games, socializing, and valuable information from a variety of local senior resource organizations. Several senior exhibitors will be on hand to provide insights and resources tailored to the needs and interests of the senior community. All attendees will enjoy a complimentary Chick-fil-A boxed lunch, adding to the festive and welcoming atmosphere.

Whether you’re looking to connect with fellow seniors, learn about community resources, or simply have a great time, the Senior Inforum is the place to be.
