The American Red Cross of Northwest Georgia has been actively responding to home fires throughout this Winter.
Carla Maton, Executive Director, says that Red Cross volunteers have been providing assistance to those who have lost their homes and, tragically, even loved ones in home fires.
Smoke alarms can prevent such tragedies, attests Maton, whose organization will soon be installing free smoke alarms around the area as part of its Home Fire Campaign.
Smoke alarms may be obtained at any time from the American Red Cross, who will also install them.
