One Community United will host a Candidate Forum tonight at 6 pm at the Rome Area History Center, 305 Broad Street in downtown Rome. Invited guests include the candidates for the vacancy of Post 4 on the Floyd County County Commission, which include Shonna Bailey, Chip Hood, Tonya Eden Shepard, David Thornton, and Corey Townsend.

Today is the deadline to register to vote in the Special Election, which is set for Tuesday, March 18th. Early voting begins next week.
