THIS TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18TH IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN THE MARCH 18TH SPECIAL ELECTION

This Tuesday, February 18^th is the deadline to register to vote in the Special Election set for Tuesday, March 18^th to fill the vacancy of Post 4 on the Floyd County Commission.

Candidates include Shonna Bailey, Chip Hood, Tonya Eden Shepard, David Thornton, and Corey Townsend.

Here are other important dates with regard to the Special Election from Floyd County, GA:

• Weekday early voting will be offered 8 am to 5 pm daily from February 24-28, March 3-7, March 10-14
• Saturday voting will be offered from 9 am to 5 pm on March 1^st and March 8^th
• Sunday voting will be offered from 1 pm to 5 pm on March 9^th
• Election Day is March 18^th; polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm
• A Run-Off (if necessary) will be held on April 15^th
