CHIEFTAINS MUSEUM/MAJOR RIDGE HOME TO HOST “HISTORY AND HAPPY HOUR” ON THURSDAY EVENING

Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home, located at 501 Riverside Parkway in Rome, will host “History and Happy Hour” on Thursday evening. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and the program will begin at 6 pm.

Heather Miller will be the guest speaker, according to Cameron Abney, the museum’s Interim Director. Miller is the author of the award winning “‘Tho I Be Mute”, an historical fiction novel that is grounded in the true story of the Ridge family.

Admission is free for members, and a $10 donation is suggested for potential members. Attendees may reserve their spot ahead of time or pay at the door. Drinks and light refreshments will be served. This event is open to those ages 21 and up.
