ATLANTA HAWKS’ WINNING STREAK ENDS WITH LOSS IN DENVER, CO TO NUGGETS

The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Denver Nuggets 139-120 in a New Year’s Day outing at Denver, CO on Wednesday.

Trae Young scored a game-high 30 points for the Hawks, who saw their latest winning streak come to an end at four consecutive games and are now 18-16 on the 2024-2025 regular season. DeAndre Hunter notched 20 points off the bench.

The Hawks will be in Los Angeles, CA to take on the Lakers on Friday night; tip off is set for 10:30 pm Eastern.
