The 71st annual Rome Seven Hills Rotary Christmas Tournament concluded with the championship round on Friday evening on the campus of Armuchee High School. The Calhoun girls and the Rome boys emerged as this year’s victors.
The Lady Jackets hoisted their first ever Gold Ball with a 42-41 win over the Rome Lady Wolves, who saw their streak of Christmas Tournament victories come to an end at four straight.
The Wolves secured their first Gold Ball since 2018 with a 69-50 victory over the Darlington Tigers, whose winning streak in the tournament ended at three straight.
