The Coosa River Basin Initiative (CRBI) will host their Riverkeeper Awards and Annual Meeting on the evening of Thursday, March 26th from 6 pm until 9 pm on the outdoor patio of the Courtyard Marriott Rome Riverwalk.
Jesse Demonbreun-Chapman, Executive Director, says that this special event will give his organization an opportunity to recognize local water heroes and reflect on CRBI accomplishments from the past year.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students (with the proper ID) and may be purchased online at www.coosa.org or at the door. The event will feature food, drink and live music.
Demonbreun-Chapman adds that he looks forward to celebrating those who have championed cleaner water in Northwest Georgia.
Six individuals that stood out in ’19 for their efforts in the upper Coosa River will be honored at the event; the complete list is on the CRBI website.
