ROME-FLOYD RECYCLING CENTER’S LAST ELECTRONICS RECYCLING EVENT OF THE YEAR SET FOR NOVEMBER 9TH, SCRAP TIRE AMNESTY DAYS ON TAP FOR THIS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY

The Rome-Floyd Recycling Center, 412 Lavender Drive in Rome, will host its final Electronics Recycling Event of 2024 on Saturday, November 9th.

Appointments are required and may be made online via the SignUpGenius link at www.floydcountyga.gov now or by telephone at (706) 291-5266 starting on October 28th.

Electronic items typically gathered include computers, televisions, recorders, and most any peripheral type equipment like printers and keyboards, as stated by Emma Wells, Director of Solid Waste for Floyd County.

The event is for Rome/Floyd residents only, and will be held from 9:00AM until slots are filled. Please be sure to have proof of Floyd County residency for the event (vehicle tag, license, utility bill, etc.).

Here’s a reminder that the Recycling Center will host Scrap Tire Amnesty Days this Friday and Saturday, October 18th and 19th from 9 am until 2 pm at the GE Trails located at 1935 Redmond Circle.
