ROME LITTLE THEATRE TO PRESENT “THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG” OCTOBER 4-13

The Rome Little Theatre will present “The Play That Goes Wrong” onstage at the historic DeSoto Theatre on Broad Street from October 4th through 13th. Showtimes are set for 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights and 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoons.

According to an RLT description of the show –

This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show—an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines). Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this global phenomenon is guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!

Cast member Lacy Herring, who plays the stage manager, enthuses that “The Play That Goes Wrong” is a play within a play – and it’s hilarious.
