The Atlanta Braves games with the New York Mets that had been scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday nights at Truist Park have been postponed due to weather concerns. They will be made up as a part of a traditional double header on Monday with first pitch of game one at 1:10 pm.
Atlanta beat New York in the teams’ three-game National League East opener on Tuesday night.
Both teams are vying for a spot in the 2024 MLB postseason. The Braves are one game behind the Mets and the Arizona Diamondbacks for the second and third NL Wild Card spots.
The Braves will play host to the Kansas City Royals in a three-game set over the weekend. Friday evening’s series opener will not be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM because we will be broadcasting high school football at that time. Listen to WLAQ for the play-by-play story of the rest of the series from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.
