ENTRIES STILL SOUGHT BY THE GEORGIA’S ROME OFFICE OF TOURISM FOR THE INAUGURAL PLEIN AIR SHOWCASE

Are you an artist? How would you like to share your talents by painting live in person with a local audience? If the answer to both questions is yes, then you are invited by the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism to participate in the first-ever Plein Air Showcase of Georgia’s Rome scheduled to take place during Fiddlin’ Fest on Saturday, October 12th.

Plein-air painting is the art of painting outdoors. Kristi Kent, Director of Communications for the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism, says that artists in the Plein Air Showcase will be asked to capture the essence of downtown Rome as locals and visitors enjoy Fiddlin’ Fest. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best artwork.

The artist entry fee is $25. Get additional information and register online at www.RomeGeorgia.org/PleinAir.
