Sleep in Heavenly Peace – GA Etowah Valley Chapter seeks volunteers for its annual Bunks Across America bed build set for this Saturday, September 14th from 9 am until 1 pm at Lowe’s Home Improvement, located at 2338 Shorter Avenue in Rome.
Steven Wisenburg, Co-President, states that the local chapter will be joining other chapters of Sleep in Heavenly Peace across the nation to build beds for children in need.
Concerned citizens may register to volunteer at Saturday’s build in advance at www.shpbeds.org. On-site registration will start at 8:30 am on the day of the event. Advance registration is preferred.
The mission of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, attests Wisenburg, is to ensure that no kid sleeps on the floor in our community.
