Rome City Schools is pleased to announce that Dr. Tiffany World has been named an Assistant Principal at Rome Middle School.
Dr. World is a Rome High graduate with more than 19 years of educational experience. Dr. World began her teaching career in Chattooga County Schools as a second-grade teacher. She has also served as a reading interventionist and math coach at Anna K. Davie Elementary.
“I am sincerely honored to serve Rome Middle School’s superb faculty, staff, students, and community as an Assistant Principal. It is with great pleasure that I embark on this new venture alongside Mr. Barnes and our entire Rome Middle School family. I bring a wealth of experience in teaching, leading, and learning. I know that, together, we will continue to promote academic excellence, positive outcomes, and immense growth,” Dr. World says. “As Mr. Barnes says, ‘What time is it? It’s time to WARM UP! We Are Rome Middle and winning is the Goal!’ I am looking forward to a plethora of successes at RMS! Go Wolves!”
After serving in the U. S. Navy where she reached the rank of Petty Officer Third Class, Dr. World earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Berry College. She earned a Master of Education and an Educational Specialist Degree from the University of West Georgia. She earned a Doctorate in Education from Kennesaw State University.
“Dr. World will be a great addition to the RMS staff. She is already warmed up and ready to go. We look forward to her leadership,” Rome Middle School Principal Christian Barnes says.
