Out of an abundance of caution, Public Animal Welfare Services (P.A.W.S.) was closed again on Monday, August 5 and and will remain closed Tuesday, August 6 while awaiting test results regarding a potential health concern to our animals.
Staff is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the animals and visitors by following guidelines from the Department of Agriculture. Staff is still available by phone, however there will be no surrenders or stray pickups at this time. Updates will be provided as soon as possible following test results.
