Orlando Arcia, a former Brewer, had a solo shot for Atlanta in the top of the fifth. The Brewers got on the board with a solo homer from Rhys Hoskins in the bottom of that inning. They took the lead with a three-run homer by Willy Adames in the sixth, added another run during the seventh with an RBI triple by Joey Ortiz, and three more in the eighth on a two-run homer from Jackson Chourio and a sac fly from Hoskins. Sean Murphy homered for the Braves in the top of the ninth. However, the Brewers held on for the win, again, by a final score of 8-3 on Monday night.
Jesse Chavez was charged with the loss for Atlanta. Hoby Milner picked up the win for Milwaukee.
