The Rome Emperors will be back in action on their home field from tonight through Sunday with a six-game series versus the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
The first pitch of this evening’s series opener is slated for 7 pm.
Gavin Booker, play-by-play announcer for the Emperors on MiLB.tv, invites locals to head to the ballpark this week for what could be a preview of the ’24 South Atlantic League playoffs in this match-up between the Emperors, the first half South Division champs, and the Hot Rods, current division leaders. Special promotions are also in store for this week.
Booker adds that only 18 home games remain in the Rome Emperors’ regular season schedule.
