ROME EMPERORS CONCLUDE JUNE WITH LOSS AT WINSTON SALEM, NC TO DASH, BACK HOME TO BEGIN JULY WITH THREE GAMES VS BOWLING GREEN HOT RODS

The Rome Emperors concluded the month of June with a loss up in Winston Salem, NC to the Dash by 12-8 on Sunday afternoon. That resulted in a 3-3 split of the six-game series between the teams.

Rome will begin the month of July with a three-game set at home against the Bowling Green Hot Rods. First pitch of tonight’s series opener is scheduled for 7 pm at AdventHealth Stadium.

Gavin Booker, play-by-play announcer, enthuses that 73 cent tickets may be purchased to tonight’s game in honor of National Stamp Day. Wednesday’s Independence Day Celebration (a day ahead of the 4th) will be highlighted by a backyard cookout with team mascot Julius.
