The ’24 First Friday concert series will roll into Independence Day weekend with a free performance on the Town Green in downtown Rome on the night of Friday, July 5th at 7 pm. Carl and the Floorwalkers will be the opener, and the Georgia Thunderbolts will be the headliner.
Aundi Lesley, Director of the Rome Downtown Development Authority, says that the Georgia Thunderbolts will embark on a tour of Europe shortly after their appearance at First Friday. That band is very popular among Rome, GA residents.
Lesley encourages First Friday attendees to visit the downtown businesses whose financial support allow the concerts to be offered to the public free of charge.
