The Rome-Floyd Chamber has announced that Operation Gift Card will be back this Summer. The matching gift card program will go live on Tuesday, July 16th. Pam Powers-Smith, President and CEO, says that those who buy a $50 gift card at www.romega.com will get an additional $50 (while supplies last) thanks to a partnership with Atlanta Gas Light. She adds that the goal of Operation Gift Card is to encourage locals to support small businesses.
Each gift card may be used at any participating business, says Powers-Smith, who urges shoppers to act quickly when Operation Gift Card goes live since cards sell out almost immediately.
