ATLANTA BRAVES LOSE SECOND STRAIGHT OUTING IN SEATTLE TO MARINERS

The Atlanta Braves fell to the Seattle Mariners by 3-2 on Tuesday night in the middle outing of a three-game set at Seattle, WA. It was Atlanta’s second loss in a row to Seattle and the first time that the Braves have been handed back to back losses for the 2024 regular season.

The Mariners scored first on a two-run homer from Jorge Polanco during the bottom of the third inning. They added another run with an RBI double from Dylan Moore in the fourth. The Braves got on the board during the eighth as Ozzie Albies clubbed an RBI single and Jarred Kelenic scored on a throwing error.

Reynaldo Lopez was charged with the loss for Atlanta after giving up three runs and six hits, walking two, and striking out seven over five innings. Luis Castillo was the winning pitcher for Seattle, and Andres Munoz was credited with the save.
