BIDS ACCEPTED THROUGH APRIL 27TH IN ROME-FLOYD COUNTY FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY’S CURRENT AUCTION

(Announcement from the Rome-Floyd County Friends of the Library):

To celebrate spring, the Rome-Floyd County Friends of the Library’s current auction especially focuses on the beauty and wonders of the natural world and the great outdoors–from backyard sustainability and animal husbandry, to outdoor survival, to camping and hiking and outdoor adventures along the Appalachian Trail. There are also two showcases devoted to the history of Rome and Floyd County, as well as about local educational institutions like Berry College.  This is an opportunity to pick up some classic volumes filled with local interest and significance–and the Friends are offering multiple copies of many of these books, allowing many people to become “winners” of popular titles.

For a complete list of all items offered, please check the library website www.shrls.org/folauction.

The auction will close Saturday, April 27, at 4pm. No bids will be accepted after this date and time.
