Here’s a reminder for Floyd County residents that the Rome-Floyd Recycling Center, 412 Lavender Drive in Rome, will host another Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, March 9th from 9 am until 1 pm.
This event is intended for Rome and Floyd County residents only, according to Emma Wells, Director of Solid Waste for Floyd County. She adds that this will be the perfect opportunity to dispose of electronic items like computers and televisions.
Attendees must have proof of residency such as a tag, license, or utility bill, states Wells.
Appointments must be made in advance and may be scheduled online via the SignUpGenius link at www.floydcountyga.gov or via telephone at (706) 291-5266.

May 11th – Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics
July 13th – Electronics only
September 21st – HHW and Electronics
November 9th – Electronics only
