Get ready for the upcoming baseball and softball season with Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation and Unlimited Potential’s youth baseball clinic. Spots are limited so don’t wait to sign up.
The clinic is set for Saturday, February 24 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Thornton Center Gymnasium with doors opening at 11 a.m.
Boys and girls ages 7 to 14 will learn skills from former MLB players including Matt Wieters, Terry Evans, Tyler Keele, and Mickey Weston.
Wieters is a 12-year MLB veteran with 4-time All Star appearances and 2 Gold Glove awards under his belt. Evans played with the Los Angeles Angels and Keele was in the minor leagues with the Arizona Diamondbacks’ AAA affiliates team.
Registration is $25 and spots are limited. Participants will receive a t-shirt included in the registration cost. Register in person at 1 Shorter Avenue or online at rfpra.com.
