Atlanta Braves fans, rejoice! It is that magical time of year for pitchers and catchers to report to Spring Training in Florida. Many have already made the journey, as have some position players. Pitchers’ and catchers’ first workout is set for this Thursday, while the first full squad workout is on the schedule for next Tuesday, February 20th.
The Braves will open up Grapefruit League play on Saturday, February 24th against the Tampa Bay Rays in Port Charlotte. Fans may listen to coverage of most weekend Spring Training games from the Braves Radio Network on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM through Sunday, March 24th.
WLAQ will broadcast every pitch of the 2024 regular season from the Braves Radio Network. Opening Day is set for Thursday, March 28th in Philadelphia versus the Phillies.
