IT’S TIME FOR FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, WEEK NINE!

It’s time for Friday night lights in Northwest Georgia as area high school football teams take the field for the ninth week of play in the 2023 regular season!

WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM will have coverage of Darlington football tonight as the Tigers head to Pepperell for a Region 7-A Division 1 battle.

Darlington’s head football coach Wayne Groves is an alumnus of Pepperell High School. He says that it will be interesting to return to the home of the Dragons.

Darlington improved to 3-0 in the region and 5-2 overall with a 35-0 victory at home over Chattooga last Friday night.
