ATLANTA BRAVES DROP SERIES FINALE IN SAN FRANCISCO TO THE GIANTS, STILL TAKE THE SERIES

The Atlanta Braves fell to the San Francisco Giants 8-5 on Sunday evening in the finale of a three-game set in San Francisco, CA. Atlanta lost the game, but won the series 2-1.

Highlights of the night for the visiting Braves included a two-run homer from Marcell Ozuna in the top of the sixth inning.

Jared Shuster was charged with the loss for Atlanta. Scott Alexander picked up the win, while Camilo Doval got the save for San Francisco.

The National League East-leading Braves still have the best record in MLB, now 84-45 for the 2023 regular season. They will continue their current 10-game road trip tonight with the first of three games in Denver, CO versus the Colorado Rockies. First pitch is scheduled for 8:40 pm.
