WORLD’S FOLK ART CHURCH AT HOWARD FINSTER’S PARADISE GARDEN TO RE-OPEN ON JUNE 22ND

The Paradise Garden Foundation has announced that the World’s Folk Art Church at Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden in Summerville will re-open to the public on Sunday, June 22nd.

The re-opening will follow months of restoration of this historic structure that was closed by Finster himself in 1999, two years before his passing in 2001, says Tina Cox, Executive Director of the foundation.

Cox believes that if Finster were still around, he would be excited about the grand re-opening festivities, set for 11 am to 5 pm.

A large turnout is anticipated for this event by Cox, who says that the World’s Folk Art Church and Paradise Garden draw interest from art lovers around the world.
