The Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta look forward to Summer Camps in 2025. Camp Misty Mountain in Armuchee is for older Girl Scouts in the area. Andi LaPolt, Camp Director, says that campers will enjoy water activities on Lake Marvin, archery, an equestrian program, riflery, arts and crafts, and more this summer.
LaPolt suggests Camp Timber Ridge for younger Girl Scouts. This is a day camp located in Mableton. Camp Meriwether is located in Luthersville. It is an overnight camp, as is Misty Mountain. Limited space remains available for all of these camps.
Now is a good time to join a Girl Scout troop in order to partake in Summer Camp, enthuses Ebby Meeks, Area Executive.
