CAVE SPRING DDA LOOKS FORWARD TO SPECIAL EVENTS IN THE MONTHS AHEAD

The Cave Spring Downtown Development Authority looks forward to special events in the months ahead.

Less than a month remains until BaconFest 2025. That event is slated for Saturday, May 3rd from 10 am until 3 pm in Rolator Park. Marley Peals, Cave Spring DDA Director, enthuses that attendees will have a chance to try some unique bacon dishes and vote for the one they think is best. There will also be a car show.

The cost to attend BaconFest will be $5 for those ages 13 and over. Kids age 12 and under will be admitted for free. Peals urges attendees to arrive early in order to be a bacon-tester.

The Cave Spring Historical Society will host the Cave Spring Arts Festival on June 14th and 15th. That event will mark its 50th anniversary this year, says Peals.

Summertime festivities will also include Liberty Day and Fireworks on June 28th and the Cave Spring 4th of July Parade.

Peals says that special events like these are intended to draw visitors to Cave Spring.
