The Rome Area Council for the Arts will host its annual Firefly Fling on the evening of Friday, April 25th from 7 pm until 10 pm at the Lewis Loft located in downtown Rome.
This year’s Firefly Fling will be a celebration of cubism, a form of art made famous by Pablo Picasso. Lulie Ebaugh, RACA Executive Director, enthuses that attendees will enjoy live music from a Spanish guitar player, dinner from La Scala, and more. An after-party will take place at The Foundry.
The Firefly Fling will also be highlighted by a live painting from local artist Siri Selle. Her finished artwork will be available for purchase at the end of the night.
A limited number of tickets remain available at a cost of $125 each. Those who would like to attend and support the arts should send an email to Ebaugh at [email protected].
The proceeds from the event will fund grants to support arts organizations in Rome and Floyd County, says Ebaugh.
RACA provides assistance to the Rome International Film Festival, the Rome Symphony Orchestra, local schools, and more.
