ATLANTA BRAVES SWEPT IN SAN DIEGO BY PADRES TO OPEN 2025 REGULAR SEASON

The Atlanta Braves were shut out by the San Diego Padres 5-0 on Sunday night in the finale of the teams’ four-game, season-opening set at Petco Park in San Diego, CA. It allowed the Padres to sweep the series.

AJ Smith-Shawver was charged with the loss for Atlanta. Nick Pivetta picked up the win for San Diego.

The Braves will open a three-game series versus the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers tonight in Los Angeles, CA. First pitch is set for 10:10 pm Eastern.
