It was a busy weekend at Spring Training for the Atlanta Braves. One split squad picked up a 7-3 win over the Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers, FL, while another lost on the Braves’ Grapefruit League home field in North Port to the Minnesota Twins by 4-0 this past Saturday. The Braves were defeated by the Toronto Blue Jays by 6-2 in Dunedin and the Braves prospects lost to Detroit Tigers prospects by 6-3 in the Spring Breakout at North Port on Sunday.
Atlanta will host a split squad Boston Red Sox this afternoon; first pitch is set for 1:05 pm.
Braves fans may tune into coverage of weekend Spring Training games from the Braves Radio Network locally on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM through this Sunday, March 23rd. WLAQ will have most every pitch of the Braves’ 2025 regular season. Opening Day is set for Thursday, March 27th in San Diego, CA versus the Padres.
