This is the last week of early voting in the Special Election to fill the vacancy on Post 4 of the Floyd County Commission. Registered voters may cast their early ballots at the county’s Elections Office, located at 18 East 12th Street in Rome, every day this week between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm through this Friday, March 14th. Polls county-wide will be open from 7 am until 7 pm on Election Day, next Tuesday, March 18th.
Candidates include Shonna Bailey, Chip Hood, Tonya Eden Shepard, David Thornton, and Corey Townsend.
