The next session of the Floyd County Emergency Management Agency’s SAFE Emergency Preparedness Academy is scheduled for Monday, March 10th in the Emergency Operations Center, located at 407 East 12th Street in Rome.
Tim Herrington, Floyd EMA Director, says that the 6 pm session will focus on CPR and HeartSmart AED. There is no cost to attend.

First aid training will be offered at the April 14th class, states Herrington, who adds that an Emergency Service Expo will be held on May 10th, and a session on drug safety and Narcan will take place on June 16th.
