CAN’T VOTE EARLY DURING THE WEEK IN MARCH 18TH SPECIAL ELECTION? DO IT OVER THE WEEKEND!

Floyd County voters will have opportunities over the next two weekends to vote early in the March 18th Special Election to fill the vacancy on Post 4 of the Floyd County Commission.

Early voting will be offered at the Floyd County Elections Office, located at 18 East 12th Street in Rome, this Saturday, March 1st and on Saturday, March 8th from 9 am to 5 pm both days, as well as on Sunday, March 9th from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Registered voters may cast an early ballot on weekdays between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm through March 14th at the same location.

All polls will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, March 18th, from 7 am until 7 pm. If a run-off is needed, it will be held on Tuesday, April 15th.

Candidates include Shonna Bailey, Chip Hood, Tonya Eden Shepard, David Thornton, and Corey Townsend.
