CAN’T VOTE EARLY DURING THE WEEK IN MARCH 18TH SPECIAL ELECTION? DO IT OVER THE WEEKEND!

Floyd County voters will have opportunities over the next two weekends to vote early in the March 18^th Special Election to fill the vacancy on Post 4 of the Floyd County Commission.

Early voting will be offered at the Floyd County Elections Office, located at 18 East 12^th Street in Rome, this Saturday, March 1^st and on Saturday, March 8^th from 9 am to 5 pm both days, as well as on Sunday, March 9^th from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Registered voters may cast an early ballot on weekdays between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm through March 14^th at the same location.

All polls will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, March 18^th, from 7 am until 7 pm. If a run-off is needed, it will be held on Tuesday, April 15^th.

Candidates include Shonna Bailey, Chip Hood, Tonya Eden Shepard, David Thornton, and Corey Townsend.
