Model High School’s girls’ basketball team is headed to the Final Four in the GHSA’s Class A Division 1 playoffs!
The Lady Blue Devils picked up a 34-31 victory at home over Lamar County in the quarterfinals on Tuesday evening to punch their ticket to the next round of the state tournament. They will take on Banks County in the semifinals on Saturday at Georgia College and State University down in Milledgeville; tip off is set for 5 pm. Broadcast coverage will be provided by WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM.
