One of Model High School’s basketball teams extended its run in the GHSA Class A Division 1 playoffs, while the other’s season drew to a close this past Saturday.
The Lady Blue Devils punched their ticket to the Elite Eight with a 33-30 win at home over Central, Macon. They will go on to host Lamar County on Tuesday night.
The Blue Devils’ run ended in the Sweet 16 round with a loss to East Laurens by 73-59.
