EARLY VOTING OFFERED FROM FEBRUARY 24 TO MARCH 14TH IN MARCH 18TH SPECIAL ELECTION

Early voting in the Special Election to fill the vacancy on Post 4 of the Floyd County Commission will be offered over the next three weeks at the county’s Elections Office, 18 East 12^th Street in Rome. Registered voters may cast an early ballot on weekdays between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm from February 24^th through March 14^th, as well as the next two Saturdays (March 1^st and 8^th) from 9 am until 5 pm and on Sunday, March 9^th from 1 pm until 5 pm. Polls county-wide will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, March 18^th, from 7 am until 7 pm.

Candidates include Shonna Bailey, Chip Hood, Tonya Eden Shepard, David Thornton, and Corey Townsend.
