Baseball is back this weekend as the Atlanta Braves play their first Spring Training games of 2025 on Saturday in Fort Myers, FL versus the Minnesota Twins and this Sunday on their Grapefruit League home field in North Port, FL against the Tampa Bay Rays. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 pm both of those days. Fans may listen to play by play coverage from the Braves Radio Network on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; airtime is 12:55 pm both days.
Ben Ingram, play by play announcer, says that he eagerly anticipates being back in the broadcast booth with his fellow announcers. He adds that he is also excited about warmer temperatures in Florida and, of course, the chance to watch baseball.
