The Atlanta Hawks fell to the New York Knicks by 149-148 in overtime on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Trae Young scored a team-high 38 points and had 19 assists for the Hawks, who saw their latest winning streak end at three straight games and are now 26-29 on the 2024-2025 regular season.
Karl-Anthony Towns led all players in scoring with 44 points for the Knicks, who have won two in a row and are now 36-18. Jalen Brunson contributed a jump shot to put New York ahead with 11 seconds left in OT.
The Hawks will return to action after the NBA All-Star break with a match at home versus the Orlando Magic on February 20th.
