The Coosa River Basin Initiative asks community members to make their voices heard for clean water during the 2025 session of the Georgia General Assembly.
Courtney Altice, Communications Manager, says that the CRBI is teaming with the Georgia Water Coalition this year to urge state legislators to create a system of providing updates to public wastewater treatment centers about forever chemicals, which have become an issue in waterways across the state and nation. GWC members and supporters will participate in Capitol Conservation Day at the State Capitol in Atlanta on March 4th.
