As we prepare to flip the calendar to February in a couple of days, we are getting ever closer to baseball season.
The Rome Emperors are scheduled to begin their 2025 season on the evening of Friday, April 4th at AdventHealth Stadium versus the Winston Salem Dash. Blake Nicholson, Video Production and Press Box Coordinator, says that fans will again enjoy fireworks after each Friday home game, T-shirt Tuesday, and other festivities this year at the ballpark. A Dig Up the Diamond event was held at the home of the Emperors this past Tuesday evening; that gave attendees an opportunity to carry home a piece of Rome’s history.
The Emperors are the High A Minor League affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The Braves will open their 2025 regular season on March 27th in San Diego, CA versus the Padres. They will report to Spring Training down in Florida in mid February. Tune into Atlanta Braves baseball again this season on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM!
