CAPITOLINA DRYLAND CHALLENGE SET FOR THIS WEEKEND ON THE GE TRAILS

The inaugural Capitolina Dryland Challenge will take to the GE Trails in Rome this Saturday and Sunday.

Sarah Williams, Sales and Marketing Assistant for the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism, says that this will be a dryland race among mushers on wheeled vehicles pulled by sled-dogs. Spectators are welcome, but they are asked to leave their dogs at home.

The race was originally slated to take place last weekend but was rescheduled because of weather concerns. It is sanctioned by the International Sled Dog Racing Association (or ISDRA). For updates, search for Capitolina Dryland Challenge on Facebook.
