Communities in Schools of Rome-Floyd County encourages trustworthy and inspiring adults to make a resolution in 2025 to invest in the lives of students by becoming a mentor or a volunteer.
Gregory Wooten, Executive Director, says that mentors serve one-on-one as positive role models for students.
Volunteers may serve in a more general capacity as a classroom assistant, a reader, or a field trip chaperone, says Wooten.
