WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM will be courtside as local high school basketball teams compete for a Gold Ball in the 71st annual Rome Seven Hills Rotary Christmas Tournament this week. The tourney will begin on Tuesday with opening round games at Shorter University and Berry College and continue this Thursday and Friday at Armuchee High School.
The participating schools for 2024 include: Armuchee, Calhoun, Coosa, Darlington, Model, Pepperell, Rockmart, and Rome.
