FLOYD COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE LOOKS FORWARD TO MAKING CHRISTMAS MERRIER FOR THOSE IN NEED VIA SHERIFF SANTA PROGRAM

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office looks forward to making Christmas a little brighter for locals in need again this year through its Sheriff Santa program. Sheriff Dave Roberson says that his office is teaming up with Toys for Tots to ensure that all kids in Floyd County have toys and treats for the holidays.

Sheriff Santa sign-ups continue through this Friday, November 22nd. Details are posted to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office page on Facebook. Those in need of help are sought, in addition to those willing to help the program with their donations, says Roberson.

Distribution of gifts is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th at the Sheriff’s Office.

FCSO also joins forces with Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation to conduct a Sheriff Santa program for seniors, states Roberson, who adds that fundraising efforts are held throughout the year for both programs.

Locals with questions about Sheriff Santa are directed by Roberson to contact the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 291-4111.
